What we are doing to reduce the risk
Changes in our facilities
In all our facilities we have established and implemented communication procedures for employees and managers to deal with COVID-19 circumstances.
We are encouraging social distancing practices in the workplace where possible.
Our facilities are working to ensure that deep cleaning methods are followed regularly at each site, including daily disinfectant wipe-downs of high-touch areas like time clocks, handles, and equipment.
Our facilities are closed to customers entering our buildings, but curbside pick up is available. Customer may call our customer service department at 1-800-860-2107, to place an order and/or request to pick up their order. A sign with these directions are placed on the customer entrance door.
Under the “Memorandum on Identification of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce During COVID-19 Response” issued on March 19, 2020 by the United States Department of Homeland Security, Yoder Oil’s operations are considered an “essential” business serving the transportation and logistics, construction, first responder, public works and other “critical infrastructure” segments.
In keeping with that public responsibility, Yoder Oil is committed to maintaining its operations during the coronavirus outbreak in order to support and serve our customers, including firefighters, EMS staff, and law enforcement officers to help them continue to deliver critical and essential services.
We are regularly monitoring and assessing local, state and federal announcements, directives and guidelines concerning the COVID-19 pandemic. Although these recommendations and requirements are frequently changing and, at times, contradictory, we are committed to taking every reasonable measure to operate in accordance with the then-prevailing legal and regulatory requirements and best practices in our industry for the protection of the health and safety of our employees, customers, vendors and the general public.
